ARTIST STATEMENT: Dominique Vangilbergen is a painter who lives and works in a tiny little village somewhere near Avignon in France. Vangilbergen attended the Saint Lucas Institute in Brussles. He made a few installations in different Belgian towns before he started working in Brussels and Bastia, Corisica. He started to paint again on the Island of Corsica. He never stopped since then."
