Do You Need to Market The Classics?

So...I have this thing about Coca-Cola. Everyone knows what it is. Everyone. Because of that fact (assumed), I believe they should stop making commercials. I'm tired of them, they're not particularly entertaining, and that holiday polar bear stopped being cute in 1994.

I'm aware that my opinion on this is one riddled with neurosis. But, let's be honest, eventually the classics don't need to be marketed. 

Having said that. If you are going to market the classics, this is not the way to do it – sandwiched awkwardly between a bunch of random, and culture-killing books (I'm looking at you, Target).
