Ana Jarén

Ana Jarén

Ana Jarén started drawing women at a young age. Her earliest drawings were comprised of simple circles and line, and they have evolved into lush and romantic worlds. With a thick piece of paper, markers, and pencils, Jarén illustrates the most gorgeous and detailed rooms. Each of the rooms is full of food and color and comfort, and, if it were possible, we’d Mary Poppins jump into them for the rest of our lives.

Jarén grew up in Sevilla, in the south of Spain. As a child, she was influenced by Sailor Moon and The Spice Girls. She still gets giddy when the girl group reunites.

Just like her illustrations, Jarén loves to create in comfy, warm, and sun-filled rooms. She loves the romantic quality of good paper, feeling the texture and the weight of the fibers.

As a mother and an illustrator, Jarén tries to work as much as she can while her daughter is in nursery school. Her daughter loves to sit in her lap while she is drawing, helping her to pick colors, and pointing out spots that need more color.

Jarén’s nights are spent catching up on sleep. Since her daughter was born, she never knows how much sleep she will get.

We champion Jarén’s career!

She was able to turn her hobby into a true profession.
