As a nervous child, Rosemary's father would often tell her, "A por ellos, que son pocos y cobardes," which loosely translates to, "Go get 'em, for they are few and they are all cowards." Rosemary is coming after us all, with some of the boldest, brightest, and most ambitious comics we've seen. And the girl only graduated from college last year. At least after taking in her work, we feel a little less cowardly.
A peek at her newest work, entitled "Black Sun Rising."
Thoroughly enjoy her comic "The World and How It Came to Be" in its entirety. The piece is only a glimpse into Rosemary's fascination with beginnings, growth, and the mysticism of the universe.
Rosemary is currently fulfilling her dream working on a graphic novel with Mariko Tamaki. Tamaki's work, especially Skim and This One Summer, were essential to Rosemary's formation as an artist.
