Alina Vergnano

Alina Vergnano

Alina Vergnano's style is distinctly unique. Continually playing with her vision, she loves to reinvent her female figure through a variety of mediums. Enjoy her fearless exploration of illustration, print making, ceramics and mural work that brings these women to life.

Puzzled - Vergnano's 2016 exhibition in Italy, featured the ceramic pieces paired with numerous illustrations.

Residing in Sweden, Verganano draws from the minimalist, stark beauty of the Nordic culture.

Vergnano attributes her love for drawing to a lack of video games and television in her childhood.

The origin of her "woman" began as a vehicle for self-expression, as she began to explore her art. Now the form has become more abstract, "like a symbol of the thoughts we all have, of our feelings, and our silences."

The movement from illustration to murals seemed to be a natural progression for Vergnano. Incorporating her women into the urban landscape is incredibly strengthening.
